"A man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." (Matthew 19:5)

Marriage is seen as a gift from God.  The Bible teaches that it is a life-long, faithful union between a man and a woman, and compares married love with the love Jesus has for his people – a love expressed in his willing sacrifice of himself on the cross.

Initial contacts with the vicar will discuss things like eligibility—can you get married in the Parish; what it all means and how we can help you build a strong marriage.
