Living the Life

  • Welcome to St James' Church, a parish in the Church in Wales
We are an evangelical Anglican Church situated on Walter Road, Uplands, Swansea.
Our principal concern is to share the Good News about Jesus Christ with everyone we meet.   Jesus said he came "that they (those who put their faith in him) may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10).
So if you want to know how to discover and live this full life through Jesus why not join us for Sunday worship or come along to a Life Group.  If you would like to have a chat over coffee with the vicar, Mark, his contact details are below.
Our mission statement, vision and values can be found on the 'About Us' page.

  • 150th Anniversary Events

The first celebratory event of St James’ 150th Anniversary year is a night at the theatre.  Swansea Little Theatre has allowed us to hold a charity night on Tuesday 14th February at 7.30pm which is the first night of the stageplay Goodnight Mr Tom.    Tickets are £10 (£5 for children) and include a drink and snacks during the interval.

It would be good if you can come along to support us.  The play, based on the novel by Michelle Magorian, is suitable for children especially those who have been doing World War II projects at school.

Contact by phone 07719916704 or email if you want tickets.  Thank you
