Living the Life

  • Welcome to St James' Church, a parish in the Church in Wales
We are an evangelical Anglican Church situated near the Uplands part of Swansea and our principal concern is to share the Good News about Jesus Christ with everyone we meet.   He once said that he came "that they (those who put their faith in him) may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10).  So if you want to know how to discover and live this full life through Jesus why not pop in and join us for Sunday worship, or join a Life Group or just come along and have a chat with the vicar, Mark.  Coffee is on him.  You can find us on Walter Road, Uplands SA1 4QF
Our mission statement, vision and values can be found in the About Us page.

Recently the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have called every church and parish throughout the Anglican Church to join in prayer in the week leading up to Pentecost. You can find how you can join in by clicking on the following link

We shall be running a short course on prayer based on the Lord's Prayer, plus providing resources to help you to pray.  Courses start on Monday 18th April at 1pm or Tuesday 19th April at 7.30pm, in the Parish Centre.
If you are unable to come to the meetings you can access the course and find free downloadable resources by clicking the link
