Living the Life

  • Welcome to St James' Church, a parish in the Church in Wales
We are an evangelical Anglican Church situated on Walter Road, Uplands, Swansea.
Our principal concern is to share the Good News about Jesus Christ with everyone we meet.   Jesus said he came "that they (those who put their faith in him) may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10).
So if you want to know how to discover and live this full life through Jesus why not join us for Sunday worship or come along to a Life Group.  If you would like to have a chat over coffee with the vicar, Mark, his contact details are below.
Our mission statement, vision and values can be found on the About Us' page.

  • Last year we at St James' filled over 20 shoeboxes with gifts such as toys, wrapped sweets, school supplies and hygiene items for vulnerable children all over the world as part of Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest children’s Christmas project run by the Christian relief and development organisation Samaritan’s Purse.

We are busy filling shoeboxes again this year.  If you can help in any way - donate items, fill a box, or give £3 towards shipping cost for each box please contact Mark, our vicar.  The boxes have to be ready by the second week in November.
